OUR ACADEMY
The Mansa Musa Financial Academy is one of our core programs that help the youth and the community understand the history of money, how money works, create better spending and saving habits, and prepare for the future.

FINANCE 101 CORE CLASSES
Our core classes include Budgeting, Savings, Investing, Taxes, Understanding your paycheck, Needs vs. Wants, Insurance, College Scholarships, Financial institutions, Entrepreneurship, Investing, the Stock Exchange, and Real Estate.
ARTS PROGRAMS
BEADING
After-school program with children learning about beading. Students create their own beaded bracelets, using their favorite colors that have meaning to them.
QUILTING
Children learned about African fabrics. This quilting class instructs on how to put the components of a quilt together. They learn about fabrics, threads, and batting. With carefully supervision, each child will use the sewing machine to create their own quilted block to take home.
